Parenting Tip of the Week

Welcome to Parenting Links!

This is a web site that has been collaboratively developed with Richland County NDSU Extension, 21st Century After School Program, Family Nutrition Program, and NDSU campus specialists. The Richland Family Enrichment Project is designed as an educational program to strengthen family relationships and foster healthy living through a web-based interactive set of activities.

In order to assess the effectiveness of the program, an evaluation process has been designed that allows Richland County participants to share how their knowledge, attitudes and behavior have been impacted by their involvement in the Richland Family Enrichment Project. Evaluation participants will be eligible to win prizes!!!

Family -- The Family Time and Activities section of this program is intended to increase family time and togetherness through providing ideas and activities for parenting and healthy family.

Fitness -- The Family Fitness/Recreation section of this website is dedicated to improving family fitness and health. It will serve as a resource for learning basic fitness concepts and will suggest activities for increasing fitness/recreational time.

Nutrition -- Quick nutritious recipes, plus useful cooking tips.

Literacy -- Looking for a good book? Here's some suggestions for kindergarten through adult from your area school librarians. Your name will be entered in a prize drawing for each on-line book review you submit. Click on Richland County Members Only and login and go the Literacy section of this website.
